Ethically produced food doesn't

have to cost the earth

The two recently opened wholefood shops in Hebden Bridge and Todmorden have developed a wide range of nutritious and delicious wholefoods to complement the fresh bread and cakes.

The emphasis is on quality, ethical origin and affordability. A lot of the products are organic and/or fairly traded, and we buy many staples in bulk and bag them up ourselves, passing on the savings to our customers.

We try to reduce our carbon footprint as much as we can by offering refills and using paper bags and bio-degradable plastic bags.

Our aim is to supply quality, ethically-sourced wholefoods to our customers, with a particular emphasis on nutritionary-sound vegetarian and vegan food. Some of our stock highlights are:

  • Raw chocolate pie bars (vegan, dairy free and gluten free) for £2.25.

  • Rapeseed oil - the lowest saturated fat content of any oil, and grown in Yorkshire! Available in refills for £3.15 for 500 ml.

  • Violife - the very best vegan cheeses in our opinion! Various types, £2.99 for 200g.

  • Herbs and spices - we bag these up ourselves and have a wide range is available in pretty little green-topped spice jars, mostly for £1.75, with refills for 60p.

  • Suma extra virgin coconut oil, special offer for February, down from £6.80 to £5.45 for 320g.
